As Store Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations and performance of our Belconnen store. You'll create a welcoming, customer-focused environment, lead your team by example and identify opportunities to grow the business.

Key responsibilities

Leading your team: Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, support training and development, and create a positive and accountable team culture.

Driving sales and business growth: Work towards store KPIs and sales targets, identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with local healthcare providers.

Delivering outstanding customer service: Ensure customers receive knowledgeable, empathetic and practical advice to help them choose products that suit their individual needs.

Managing store operations: Oversee inventory, stock receipting, order processing, deliveries, showroom presentation and daily workflows.

Building stakeholder relationships: Develop strong connections with Occupational Therapists, medical professionals, healthcare facilities and other referral partners.

Coordinating customer orders: Oversee order processing, product demonstrations, delivery schedules and relevant Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) requirements.

Maintaining standards: Promote workplace health and safety, follow company procedures and support quality and continuous improvement across the store.

About you





Previous experience in retail management, store leadership or a similar customer-focused operational role

Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop a team

A solid customer service mindset and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy

Commercial awareness, including experience working towards sales targets, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for growth

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and keep daily operations running smoothly

Confidence using computer systems, processing orders and maintaining accurate records

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Experience in healthcare, medical equipment, mobility products or assistive technology would be advantageous.
