Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Part-Time or Full time
Preston Pelvic Health | Preston, Melbourne VIC
Permanent Position | Above-Award Salary + Commission Opportunities | Exceptional Mentoring & Professional Development
Are you a physiotherapist looking to grow your career in pelvic health?
Are you an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist transitioning into pelvic health? Or are you already working in pelvic health and looking for a supportive, collaborative clinic where you can continue developing your skills?
Preston Pelvic Health is growing, and we'd love you to join our team!
Due to strong demand for our services we are looking for another physiotherapist to join our established pelvic health team.
We are currently fully booked with waitlists, providing an excellent opportunity to build your caseload quickly, with the security of an ongoing, permanent position.
We welcome applicants looking for part-time or full-time employment, with flexible working opportunities available anywhere from Monday to Saturday. You can start immediately or in the new year.
Why join Preston Pelvic Health?
1. Exceptional mentoring and professional development
We genuinely love helping our physiotherapists grow. Whether you're transitioning from musculoskeletal physiotherapy or looking to advance your existing pelvic health skills, we'll support you every step of the way.
Our professional development opportunities include:
- Regular mentoring and clinical support from our mentoring leader, Celina, and our clinic owner
- Shadowing opportunities for physiotherapists with less pelvic health experience
- Access to our dedicated online learning and mentoring platform, including educational resources, clinical discussions and shared knowledge
- Optional funded external mentoring sessions every fortnight for those interested in additional professional development
- Regular case reviews, clinical education and monthly team meetings
- Opportunities to develop advanced skills and expand into new areas of pelvic health practice
2. Develop the pelvic health caseload YOU want
We provide pelvic health physiotherapy across all genders and a broad range of conditions, but we recognise that every physiotherapist has different interests, experience and professional goals.
You won't be expected to treat every pelvic health condition.
Instead, we encourage our physiotherapists to develop a caseload aligned with their skills and interests.
The benefit of working alongside a team with such diverse experience is that if you'd like to expand into a new area, there are experienced clinicians available to mentor, guide and support you.
Whether your interests lie in pregnancy, bladder and bowel dysfunction, persistent pelvic pain, complex presentations or sports continence, there are opportunities to develop your expertise.
3. Work alongside an experienced, collaborative team
You'll be joining a team of five pelvic health physiotherapists who enjoy sharing knowledge, discussing cases and supporting one another.
We also share our building with Preston Physiotherapy, an established musculoskeletal clinic with seven physiotherapists, providing excellent opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, internal referrals and shared clinical learning.
We have strong relationships with local GPs and medical specialists, and our full-time reception team provides excellent administrative support, allowing you to focus on your patients.
4. Excellent facilities and a diverse range of services
Our clinic offers:
- Seven private treatment rooms
- A fully equipped downstairs rehabilitation gym
- An upstairs Clinical Pilates studio
- Abdominal rehabilitation classes
- Therapeutic and diagnostic ultrasound
- Pessary fitting
- Electrotherapy and dilator therapy
- Assessment and management of bladder, bowel, pregnancy-related, pelvic pain and complex pelvic health conditions for all genders and ages
We're also developing an exciting Sports Continence Clinic, led by Celina, providing further opportunities for clinical development and involvement in a growing specialty area.
5. A workplace where you'll feel supported and valued
We pride ourselves on being a friendly, inclusive and collaborative team.
We offer:
- Above-award remuneration, with commission opportunities
- Permanent employment with paid annual leave, personal leave, superannuation and other applicable employee entitlements
- Part-time or full-time hours, with availability Monday to Saturday
- A supportive and approachable leadership team
- Monthly team meetings and regular clinical case reviews
- A strong focus on career development and career progression
- An established referral network and strong patient demand
- An active Instagram presence, with opportunities for staff to contribute to educational posts and clinic content
- The opportunity to shape your clinical interests while working within a supportive multidisciplinary environment
