Seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters to join a well established FMCG / food manufacturer operations in Sydney's Inner Western suburbs.
With multiple permanent vacancies available across the Parramatta and Blacktown areas, we're looking for mechanically minded fitters who can support busy production environments and keep machinery operating efficiently.

The Role

Working as part of an established maintenance team, you'll be responsible for maintaining production machinery,



responding to breakdowns and ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably throughout the night shift.

Responsibilities

- Mechanical breakdown response, fault finding and repairs
- Carrying out preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Maintaining production machinery, conveyors and automated equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
- Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes and drive systems
- Welding, fabrication and machining where required
- Supporting continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives

About You

- Mechanical Trade Certificate III (Fitter / Mechanical Fitter)
- Previous experience within industrial, FMCG, food processing or manufacturing environments
- Solid mechanical fault-finding and breakdown maintenance capabilities
- Experience maintaining production machinery and industrial equipment
- Good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a maintenance team
- Welding and fabrication experience highly regarded
- Comfortable working permanent night shift hours
