Whitehouse Group Qld Pty Ltd is seeking a HC Water Truck Driver to join our team in Gladstone, Queensland. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst contributing to our essential water transport operations.

As a Heavy Combination (HC) Water Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting water from the fill point to the project work site - the Calvale to Calliope River Transmission Line Reinforcement Project (C2C Project).

Our team is dedicated to delivering quality service whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety in all our operations.

Key responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain heavy combination water trucks in compliance with all road transport regulations and safety standards
- Transport water safely and efficiently to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical fitness and safety compliance
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation as required by legislation and company policy
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and protected work method statements whilst operating water trucks
- Communicate effectively with the project team and our client regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise




- Manage load securing and ensure cargo is transported without spillage or damage
- Maintain professional and courteous behaviour at all times
- Comply with fatigue management regulations and operate within legal driving hour limits

What we're looking for (essential):

- Valid HC (Heavy Combination) Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience driving HC water trucks in the civil, transport or mining industries
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, including the National Heavy Vehicle Laws
- Excellent vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspection capabilities
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach to work
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Construction Industry White Card
- Start asap
- Willing to commit for project duration - through to June 2027
