We are looking for a skilled and motivated Histology Scientist to join our supportive Histology team in Thornleigh on a full-time evening shift.

About the Role
Perform specimen processing, embedding, microtomy, H&E; staining, special stains and immunohistochemistry.
Produce high-quality slides for diagnostic reporting.
Operate, maintain and troubleshoot histology equipment and instrumentation.
Support laboratory quality, safety and accreditation requirements.
Work collaboratively with the team to maintain efficient workflows and laboratory turnaround times.
Contribute your knowledge and experience to a professional and supportive laboratory environment.
About You
AIMS-accredited Bachelor of Laboratory Science,
Medical Science or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a Histology laboratory.
Strong practical experience across histological techniques, laboratory instrumentation and quality systems.
Experience in specimen cut‑up/grossing is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail, organisation, communication and problem‑solving skills.
Confident working independently while also contributing positively to a team workplace.
