ORANA REPRODUCTION SERVICES PTY LTD The Entry-Level Veterinarian is responsible for providing high-quality medical care to a wide range of animals under the supervision and guidance of senior veterinarians. Working in our rapid-paced emergency veterinary hospital in Dubbo, NSW, the role involves diagnosing illnesses, performing routine procedures, assisting in surgeries, and delivering compassionate client care.

Benefits Salary: $80,000 to $85,000 plus Super depending on experience Task & responsibilities

- Conduct routine consultations, health checks, and physical examinations for companion animals
- Diagnose common illnesses and injuries, and recommend appropriate treatment plans
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and preventative care treatments
- Assist senior veterinarians in surgical procedures and emergency interventions
- Perform basic surgical procedures (e.g., desexing, wound management) under supervision
- Interpret diagnostic tests including blood work, urinalysis, and imaging (X-rays)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records




- Provide clear communication and education to pet owners regarding treatment plans and preventative care
- Ensure compliance with clinic protocols, animal welfare standards, and biosecurity procedures
- Collaborate effectively with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations
- Participate in after-hours or weekend rosters as required in a busy clinic setting
- Qualification & experience Veterinary Degree (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) or equivalent Must have Provisional or Full Registration with AVBC
- At least 12 months of post‑grad relevant experience
