About the opportunity

The Pipeline and Pre Award team in DVC Research are on the hunt for another Proposal Assurance & Submission Officer to join their squad! In this role, you will manage the proposal submission administrative services and offer operational support for the Pre-Award team. You will be leading support for funding proposals and submissions for allocated schemes and providing guidance and escalation support to Proposal Assurance & Submission Administrators. Your key responsibilities will be to:

- work in the Pipeline and Pre-Award team, reporting to the to Associate Director, Proposal Assurance & Submissions
- lead the administration submission requirements for allocated schemes by ensuring funding proposal and submission are compliant and meet quality assurance expectations
- maintain an accurate and systematic database of funding proposals and submissions
- understand the complexities of the submissions environment and provide insights, guidance, and regular reporting to the Pipeline and Pre-Awards Teams
- comply with funding rules and regulatory requirements
- contribute to the Research Support Community of Practice through trusted stakeholder management

About you

- administrative experience in a complex and fast-paced environment
- excellent negotiating, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills
- sound judgement, initiative, and discretion with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
- high-level attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- excellent computer skills including Microsoft office, databases, excel programs and web-based software
- interest in, or experience working in,



a research-intensive higher education environment
