Luxury Lifestyle Homes is looking for an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to join our growing team delivering premium custom homes across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who takes pride in exceptional workmanship, leads by example onsite, and thrives in a rapid-paced custom building environment.

About the Role

As a Leading Hand Carpenter, you’ll oversee multiple aspects of custom residential construction projects while leading onsite teams and coordinating trades and suppliers. You’ll be responsible for maintaining quality control, keeping projects on schedule, and creating a positive and productive work environment onsite.

Key Responsibilities

Site Leadership & Team Management

- Lead and supervise carpenters, apprentices, labourers, and trades onsite
- Create a positive, efficient, and team-focused work environment
- Coordinate daily activities to keep projects progressing smoothly
- Ensure worksites remain clean, organised, and safe at all times

Construction & Quality Control

- Oversee framing, formwork, finishing carpentry,



and custom installations
- Read and interpret plans accurately
- Complete QA checks and maintain Luxury Lifestyle Homes’ high standards
- Proactively identify and resolve construction issues onsite

Scheduling & Communication

- Coordinate trades and suppliers to maintain construction timelines
- Provide regular updates to supervisors and internal teams
- Use Buildertrend to track progress and site updates
- Assist with planning labour, materials, and daily workflows

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure all WHS requirements and safe work practices are followed
- Conduct site inspections and maintain a strong safety culture
- Lead by example in maintaining safe and professional job sites

What We’re Looking For

- Qualified Carpenter with Trade Licence
- White Card
- Strong residential construction experience, ideally in custom homes
- Proven leadership experience managing onsite teams and trades
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to problem-solve and keep projects moving efficiently
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
