Production manager: fresh flower assembly and design

We are seeking a energetic, experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee and manage daily production activities at our Malaga, Perth facility. This role involves organizing and preparing flower bouquets and arrangement and insuring on time delivery using local and overnight delivery services. It is a very active job with every day being busy and not like the previous one. Floral Holidays are offering additional level of stress and complications.

Key responsibilities

Receive, sort, store and prepare flowers and related supplies for distribution ensuring freshness and quality are maintained

Submit flower and supply orders based on projected sales volume

Assemble and prepare orders for shipment (BTC and BTB)

Hire and train hourly and seasonal staff

Ensure and maintain quality standards

Maintain facility in a clean and organized manner

Manage the efficient and effective operation of the warehouse

Maintain labour budgets

Complete weekly, monthly and quarterly inventories

Remain compliant with all state and federal safety, labour and food laws

Requirements:

Computer knowledge

Proficient in Microsoft Office





Flower design, warehousing and/or greenhouse experience considered an asset

Preference to people with restaurant, catering and food production experience in management capacity

Motivated, Energetic

This role has opportunity for substantially higher income if labour budget managed properly.
