We're seeking an experienced and commercially minded Area Manager to lead a portfolio of hospitality venues across Adelaide.

This is an opportunity for a proven multi-site leader to make a genuine impact through developing leaders, improving operational performance, and delivering outstanding customer experiences across multiple locations.

You'll work closely with Venue Managers and leadership teams to drive business performance, strengthen capability, and create an environment where both people and operations thrive.

The Opportunity

As Area Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of a group of venues, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on operational support. You'll coach and develop leaders, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure each site consistently delivers strong commercial, people and customer outcomes.

Success in this role requires a combination of leadership capability, commercial acumen, operational excellence, and the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Leadership & Development

Leading, coaching and developing Venue Managers and leadership teams.

Building capability, accountability and performance across the region.

Identifying and developing future leaders through succession planning.

Creating a culture focused on engagement, growth and continuous improvement.

Business Performance

Delivering sales, profitability and productivity targets.

Reviewing performance data and translating insights into action.

Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and commercial outcomes.

Managing labour, wage and operating costs while maintaining high standards.

Operational Excellence





Ensuring consistent execution of operational standards across all sites.

Driving quality, service and customer experience outcomes.

Supporting the implementation of recent initiatives and business priorities.

Partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve regional objectives.

Safety & Compliance

Maintaining strong compliance with workplace, safety and regulatory requirements.

Ensuring leaders effectively manage risk and create safe working environments.

Conducting regular operational reviews and audits.

About You

You are an experienced people leader who knows how to build capability, drive accountability, and achieve results through others.

Ideally, you'll bring:

Multi-site leadership experience within hospitality, retail, food service or another customer-facing environment.

A strong track record of leading high-performing teams.

Demonstrated success improving sales, profitability and operational outcomes.

Excellent coaching and leadership development skills.

Strong financial and commercial acumen.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.

The ability to navigate complexity while maintaining focus on outcomes.

Location
