Advance Tyre & Auto pty ltd Motor Mechanic – Light Vehicle (Fully Qualified) Advance Tyre & Auto Pty Ltd Advance Tyre & Auto Pty Ltd is seeking a fully qualified and experienced Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic to join our professional automotive workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, accurate diagnostics and outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities Conduct servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of light vehicles.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle faults using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust and cooling systems. Perform tyre fitting, wheel balancing, wheel alignments and related tyre services where required.

Complete vehicle inspections and identify required repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Carry out road tests to verify repairs and ensure vehicle safety and performance. Maintain accurate job cards, service records and parts requirements.

Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Maintain a clean,



organised and compliant workshop environment. Communicate clearly with service advisors, colleagues and customers regarding vehicle repairs.

Qualifications and Experience Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle motor Mechanic, Australian qualification. Demonstrated experience working as a fully qualified motor mechanic. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities across mechanical and electrical vehicle systems. Experience with modern diagnostic equipment and workshop tools. Current Australian driver licence. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy workshop team. Strong attention to detail, time management and commitment to quality workmanship. Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
