Noosa Day Hospital is a newly opened multidisciplinary facility. This is a unique opportunity to join the founding team and shape the culture, practices and standards of a brand-current service.

The hospital features three state-of-the-art operating theatres and contemporary recovery and patient care areas. We support a broad range of specialties, including Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Gastroenterology, Orthopaedics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Breast Surgery, Pain Management and MOHS Surgery.

Located within the Noosa Health Precinct, the hospital will operate alongside specialist consulting suites and allied health services, delivering integrated surgical care from pre-admission through to recovery.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CSSD Technician to join our team on a full-time, part-time or casual basis. You will play a key role in supporting safe surgical services through the reprocessing and sterilisation of instruments, working within a collaborative and quality-focused environment.

Key requirements

- Minimum one year experience in a sterilisation services environment




- Solid knowledge of disinfection and sterilisation standards
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound judgement and ability to respond appropriately in a clinical setting
- Certificate III in Sterilisation or equivalent, or willingness to obtain
- Experience in reprocessing endoscopes
