Due to continued growth, we’re looking for experienced Communications Technicians to join our Brisbane-based team.

Your Role

This is a hands-on communications service and installation role, with systems in place to keep admin simple and manageable.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Installing, terminating and certifying Cat6 and Cat6A structured cabling.

- Installing, splicing,



terminating and testing optical fibre.

- Installing communications racks, patch panels, network switches and associated equipment.

- Finding and rectifying faults in copper and fibre networks.

- Reading drawings, coordinating site activities and completing test reports and installation records.

- Upholding safety standards and company procedures.

- Supporting apprentices and contributing to a positive team culture.

What We’re Looking For

A friendly, can-do attitude matters to us, along with the technical skills to deliver quality work.

You’ll need:

- Current Open Cabling Registration with optical fibre and structured cabling endorsements.

- Experience in copper and fibre installation, testing and certification.

- Construction White Card.

- Current driver’s licence.

- Practical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

- The ability to work independently and communicate clearly with clients and your team.

A current QLD Electrical Licence, EWP or scissor lift training, and working at heights certification would be highly regarded but are not essential .
