Chef de Partie - Breakfast and lunch service - no nights
We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Chinta' in North Perth, Western Australia. This is a full-time position focused on breakfast and lunch service, with no evening shifts. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast and lunch dishes to our high standards
- Ensure all food is presented beautifully and served in a timely manner
- Complete daily mise en place efficiently while minimising waste and maintaining organised workstations.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment
- Assist the Head Chef in menu development and implementation
- Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy restaurant environment
- Strong technical cooking skills and a passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently and under pressure
- Food safety and hygiene certification
- Experience with Southeast Asian cuisine and Wok skills
