The Organisation

Alpha HPA is an Australian advanced materials manufacturer specialising in ultra-high purity aluminas and other high purity products for global technology markets. Our products support applications across semiconductors, AI infrastructure, energy storage, synthetic sapphire and advanced manufacturing.

Using our proprietary Smart SX™ process technology, we manufacture high purity products with a significantly lower carbon profile than conventional production methods.

Our Stage One facility in Gladstone is already in commercial production, while construction of our large-scale Stage Two facility is underway. With commissioning scheduled for late 2027, Stage Two will significantly expand our manufacturing capacity to more than 10,000 tonnes of high purity products per year.

It’s an exciting period of growth for Alpha HPA as we build the people, capability and systems needed to operate at a much larger scale and supply some of the world’s most technologically demanding industries.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Supply Chain leader to join our Gladstone Manufacturing operation as Supply Chain Superintendent. In this pivotal role, you will lead the safe, efficient and compliant management of warehouse, inventory, logistics and finished goods operations, ensuring materials and products are available to support operational and customer requirements. Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and contractors, you will drive operational excellence, continuous improvement and team performance across the end-to-end supply chain function.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and promote a strong safety culture across warehouse, logistics, inventory and supply chain operations.
- Manage warehousing, inventory,



storage and logistics activities to ensure efficient movement and availability of materials and finished goods.
- Oversee product storage, handling, traceability and dispatch processes to meet quality, compliance and customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders to achieve operational objectives.
- Monitor inventory performance, stock accuracy and supply chain metrics to support business outcomes and cost optimisation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency, service delivery and operational performance.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Manage supply chain resources, budgets and planning activities to support current and future operational requirements.
- Manage and set up relationships with raw material suppliers, waste product receivers, by-products receivers, logistics and freight vendors.
- Manage the Supply Chain and MRP processes to ensure finished product meets the customer sales orders.

About You

You’ll bring:

- Experience in Supply Chain, warehouse, logistics, materials coordination, or similar role.
- Experience using MRP/ WMS/ Standard Office systems.
- Understanding of WHS and manual handling principles.
- The ability to write, review and implement task related procedures and work instructions.
- Ability to work independently and part of a wider operations team.
- Solid understanding of warehouse workflows and supply chain principles.
