I’m currently working with a leading AI infrastructure business that is scaling its global Cloud Operations and Site Reliability Engineering function. They are looking for Senior Site Reliability Engineers to improve reliability across large-scale GPU infrastructure, distributed data centres and AI cloud services. This is a hands‑on senior role combining systems engineering, automation, incident leadership and mentoring. You’ll own reliability outcomes across multiple sites, drive fleet‑wide improvements and use AI‑enabled engineering to eliminate operational toil at scale.

The Role

- Own service-level objectives (SLOs), error budgets and reliability reviews across multiple sites, improving availability, MTTD and MTTR
- Lead technical incident command for major incidents, including Sev 0 and Sev 1 events, and deliver customer‑facing root cause analyses
- Design and deliver cross‑site remediation and change programs, measuring improvements against defined reliability outcomes
- Establish operational standards for firmware, GPU acceptance and burn‑in, network fabrics and infrastructure provisioning
- Build fleet‑level automation to eliminate recurring tickets, manage configuration drift and improve infrastructure reliability
- Partner with Cloud Platform Operations, Platform Engineering and Observability teams on provisioning, telemetry, production readiness and self‑healing infrastructure
- Own technical escalations with vendors such as NVIDIA, Dell, Fortinet or network carriers
- Develop AI‑enabled automation with appropriate testing, auditing and human approval controls
- Mentor engineers, lead technical workshops and contribute to engineering standards across the team

Engineers will have a primary area of expertise and develop depth in a second:

- Systems & Fabric:



GPU compute, firmware, node lifecycle, InfiniBand and hardware management
- Network & Edge: Ethernet, RoCE v2, BGP, VLANs, SD-WAN and network configuration management
- Platform & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, DCGM, telemetry pipelines, alerting and remediation automation

Desired Qualifications

- 5+ years of production reliability or infrastructure engineering experience, including senior‑level responsibility across multiple sites or regions
- Strong experience in GPU, HPC, cloud or large‑scale data centre environments
- Deep expertise in at least two relevant domains across systems and firmware, network and fabric engineering, or platform and observability
- Proven experience delivering cross‑site reliability programs with measurable outcomes and establishing standards adopted by vendors or engineering teams
- Experience leading major incidents end to end, including customer‑facing RCAs and post‑incident reviews
- Strong software engineering skills in Python or Go, including tested automation, CI/CD and tools that have measurably reduced operational toil
- Experience owning vendor escalations and influencing technical outcomes
- A track record of mentoring engineers and raising engineering standards across a team
- Daily hands‑on use of AI coding assistants and agentic tools, with experience building AI‑enabled workflows and implementing guardrails around testing, code review, permissions and autonomous execution
- Strong evidence‑based engineering practices, with a focus on verified data, operational accountability and safe production changes

Experience with NVIDIA DGX or SuperPOD, Fortinet FCX, fleet‑scale Kubernetes, WEKA or VAST storage, or bringing current GPU generations into production would be highly regarded.
