About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Lawyer at Associate or Senior Associate level to join the firm's Sydney Real Estate practice.

You’ll work closely with experienced partners on a broad range of commercial property transactions, developments and leasing matters, with the prospect to take on increasing responsibility and develop direct relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Advising on significant commercial property acquisitions and disposals.
- Drafting and negotiating commercial, retail and industrial leases.
- Acting on property development projects, including subdivisions and off-the-plan transactions.
- Managing due diligence on commercial property acquisitions and investments.
- Advising developers,



investors and corporate clients on complex property matters.
- Working alongside the firm's corporate, construction and finance teams on larger transactions.
- Managing matters independently and building relationships with clients.
- Assisting with the mentoring and supervision of junior lawyers, depending on experience.

Skills & Experience

We're interested in speaking with lawyers who have:

- 3+ years PQE , with opportunities available at Associate and Senior Associate level.
- Experience in commercial property gained within a reputable boutique, mid-tier, national or international law firm.
- Strong experience across commercial leasing, acquisitions and disposals.
- Exposure to property development and complex commercial transactions.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- The confidence to manage matters and engage directly with clients.
- A commercial mindset and an interest in progressing within a growing practice.
