About Sharon AI
Sharon AI is an Australian neocloud, delivering trusted AI infrastructure organisations need to build, train and run AI at scale. We support customers across the full AI lifecycle, from training through to inference and agentic AI, drawing on a strong ecosystem of technology and co-location partners to deliver capability where it’s needed. As the first neocloud to join NVIDIA’s AI Compute Program, we’re growing quickly, scaling our AI Factory platform to meet rising demand for advanced compute.
The Role
The Senior Delivery Lead, AI Infrastructure Capacity & Modular Deployment is responsible for executing the roadmap for the standardised capacity packages that let the business scale AI infrastructure predictably, economically and repeatably. The role delivers NVIDIA DSX-aligned modular deployment packages, colocation and conventional capacity profiles, site applicability requirements and the data centre sizing and cost tools that sit behind them.
Working with the Product Manager, Facilities Design & Engineering, Core Architecture, Procurement and delivery partners, the role turns infrastructure requirements into versioned, qualified and costed capacity packages that are repeatedly deployed across sites. Facilities Engineering retains design authority and the Product Manager owns requirements, priorities and economics.
The role is dedicated to this domain and works with the Product Manager, who defines the what, while the Senior Delivery Lead leads the work. It reports to the internal PMO and manages escalations, board and weekly reporting.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the execution roadmap for AI Infrastructure Capacity & Modular Deployment in Jira, turning the Product Manager’s priorities into milestones, sequencing and team capacity.
- Lead the work while the Product Manager defines the what, agreeing scope, time and capacity trade-offs.
- Run the squad’s scrums and sprint ceremonies, remove impediments and drive retrospective actions.
- Lead quarterly epic planning in the squad’s Jira space, bringing Operations fixes, Product Manager features, CTO priorities, Technical Program Manager needs and GTM Engineering voice-of-customer input into one backlog.
- Bring items for decision to the weekly Scrum of Scrums, coordinate decision making across stakeholders and manage escalations through relevant channels.
- Manage dependencies across facilities, architecture, procurement, suppliers, data centre providers,
commissioning and validation, finance and software developers on the sizing calculator.
- Sequence capacity package milestones against supplier lead times, site readiness and commissioning dates.
- Track delivery of the data centre sizing and cost tools alongside the capacity packages, and of approved variants and expansion rules.
- Keep Jira boards, dashboards and labels (win, blocker, hotspot) accurate, and provide weekly and board reporting.
- Confirm endorsements before release: designs, supportability, industry alignment from the Head of GTM Engineering, and investment and release approval.
- Deliver outcomes to agreed scope, time and quality, and hand over to Operations and the commercial teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 6 – 10+ years of relevant technology experience, including delivery, program management or Scrum Master roles.
- Demonstrated experience running Scrum ceremonies for an engineering team and leading quarterly planning with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ownership of an execution roadmap and delivery reporting in Jira.
- Experience managing dependencies and escalations across engineering, suppliers and business functions.
- Experience in data centre, modular infrastructure or large‑scale infrastructure delivery is desirable.
Core
- Scrum and sprint ceremony facilitation, with Agile coaching skills.
- Planning and dependency management across multiple teams and external parties.
- Stakeholder influence across engineering, commercial and finance functions, without direct reporting authority.
- Strong Jira and Confluence capability, including reporting.
- Risk management and clear escalation.
- High ownership, pragmatism and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-growing environment.
Technical
- Data centre infrastructure: power, cooling, space, connectivity, redundancy and commissioning.
- NVIDIA DSX and NCP reference architectures for AI infrastructure.
- Capacity planning, sizing models and deployment economics.
- Supplier, procurement and lead‑time management for infrastructure builds.
- Ability to work across technical, commercial and operational stakeholders in a rapidly scaling business.
- Eligibility to work in the nominated employment jurisdiction.
- Ability to satisfy applicable customer or government screening requirements where required.
- Demonstrated commitment to information security, confidentiality and qualified integrity.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with NVIDIA DSX, NCP reference architectures and high‑density GPU infrastructure.
- Understanding of power, liquid cooling, commissioning and facility‑to‑IT interfaces.
- Experience managing procurement and supplier lead times for infrastructure builds.
