About the role

We're seeking a Software Nerd / Vibe Coder to join our engineering team on a full-time basis in McGraths Hill, NSW . This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes software development and genuinely enjoys the craft of coding. As a Software Nerd / Vibe Coder, you'll be at the heart of our technical operations, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge software solutions. Key responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using contemporary programming languages and frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions
- Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and implementing improvements to enhance code quality
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner




- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tooling
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in software engineering
- Document technical solutions and maintain comprehensive system documentation

What we're looking for

- Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and architectures
- Solid grasp of version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Experience with database design and SQL, or equivalent data persistence technologies
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services development
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting
- A genuine passion for technology and continuous professional development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable
- Knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
