Hargreaves St Medical Practice is looking for a friendly, reliable casual receptionist to joinour front-desk team on weekends. We’re a busy, well-established practice with consultationsrunning Saturdays and Sundays, and we need someone dependable to keep reception runningsmoothly during those shifts.

Casual position, working Saturday and Sunday shifts on a regular roster. Ideal for someoneseeking flexible weekend work in a supportive, non-corporate practice.

Duties

- Greeting patients and visitors warmly on arrival
- Answering and managing a busy multi-line phone system
- Scheduling, confirming and rescheduling patient appointments
- Processing Medicare, DVA, HICAPS and private billing at reception
- Managing patient records and updating details in our practice software
- Handling script and results enquiries in line with practice protocol




- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception and waiting area
- Liaising with GPs, nurses and allied health staff throughout the shift

What we’re looking for

- Previous reception or customer service experience — medical reception highly regarded, but not essential
- A calm, friendly and skilled phone manner
- Comfortable working independently during weekend shifts
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Availability every Saturday and Sunday
- Familiarity with Best Practice software is an advantage, though full training is provided
- Friendly, non-corporate, well-established local practice
- Full training and support from an experienced admin team
