Just Cuts is one of Australia's most recognised hairdressing brands, with around 230 salons across Australia and New Zealand and a growing presence in Canada. Alongside our professional haircare brand, Justice Haircare, we're passionate about delivering great experiences, building genuine connections and keeping our brands fresh, relevant and engaging.

We're looking for a creative, energetic and commercially minded Social Media Specialist to bring our brands to life across social media, creators and brand partnerships.

About the Role

This is an exciting chance for someone who lives and breathes social media, loves creating engaging content and knows how to turn a great idea into something that delivers results.

Reporting to our Head of Marketing, you'll own our social media presence across Just Cuts and Justice Haircare, from the strategy and content calendar to day-to-day creation, community and results.

You'll lead our influencer, creator and brand partnerships, and help our franchise owners shine on their local social pages with content they can use.

We're looking for someone who is just as comfortable behind the camera creating content as they are in front of it, and who can bring fresh ideas, initiative and a genuine passion for storytelling.

What You'll Be Doing

- Create content that stands out - Plan, shoot, edit and publish Reels, TikToks, photography, video and written content yourself, across our salons, studio and products.
- Own our social channels - Draft our social strategy and content calendar, and manage day-to-day activity across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.
- Look after our community - Manage comments, messages and reviews, with support from our Marketing Coordinator.




- Bring campaigns to life - Create content for salon activity, product launches, brand activations, events, new salon openings and national campaigns.
- Build creator partnerships - Find and collaborate with influencers, content creators and brand ambassadors, and negotiate agreements and content usage rights.
- Grow brand collaborations - Develop co-branded partnerships and user-generated content initiatives that extend our reach.
- Support our franchise network - Build a content library and guidelines that help franchise owners make the most of their local social pages, and share franchise owner stories that support our franchise recruitment.
- Amplify what works - Work with our Performance Marketing Specialist to boost top content and creator ads, and supply social-led stories that support earned media.
- Get out and capture the action - Visit salons across Sydney, plus events, launches and activations, to create authentic, engaging content.
- Measure what works - Report monthly on reach, engagement and sentiment, and on how social drives salon visits and Justice Haircare online sales.

About You

You're a natural content creator with a great eye for detail, a strong understanding of social media trends and the confidence to bring ideas to life.

You're creative but also commercially minded.



You understand that great content isn't just about looking good - it's about connecting with audiences and delivering results.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- 3-5 years' experience in social media marketing, content creation or a similar role.
- A strong portfolio of social media content you've personally created, demonstrating your creativity, technical skills and results.
- Hands-on experience shooting, editing and producing short-form video, photography and engaging social content.
- Confidence with Instagram, TikTok, Canva, CapCut, and social media scheduling, inbox and analytics tools.
- Experience managing business social media accounts and developing content strategies.
- Strong copywriting skills and the ability to adapt your tone to different audiences and brands.
- Experience developing influencer, creator or brand partnerships, including negotiating usage rights.
- Comfort on camera and confidence representing a brand.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Experience in beauty, haircare, retail, lifestyle or franchise brands would be highly regarded.
