Make your mark on Amber's full building and renovation product range. In this key leadership role, you'll take end-to-end ownership of product strategy, evolve existing ranges and introduce new products that respond to changing market demands. Your product knowledge, market insight, supplier expertise and commercial judgement will help keep our offering competitive, profitable and true to the Amber brand.

Working closely with procurement, sales, marketing and franchise operations, you'll connect people and ideas across the product journey—from sourcing and supplier negotiations to sales enablement and go-to-market execution. You'll also share your expertise with our franchisees, helping them succeed with relevant, high-performing, on-trend products that resonate with their customers.

Key responsibilities

- Shape a clear, commercially sound product strategy across indoor and outdoor tiles, natural stone, pavers, bathroom products and accessories
- Guide the full product lifecycle, from concept and development to in-market management and rationalisation, balancing customer expectations with franchise network needs
- Explore market trends, consumer preferences and competitor activity, turning research into opportunities for growth, margin improvement and range optimisation
- Build lasting relationships with domestic and international suppliers to deliver quality, innovation and cost-effectiveness
- Bring products to life through successful launches and promotional campaigns, working closely with marketing and sales
- Share your product expertise with franchisees through regular engagement, training and practical product insights and materials
- Champion product quality and ensure compliance with relevant standards and quality benchmarks

About you

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a product management or category management role




- Industry experience in building materials, home improvement, tiles, flooring, or bathroom products
- A strong understanding of product lifecycle management, pricing strategies, and supplier negotiations
- Demonstrated ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans
- Proven success in launching recent products and optimising existing ranges
- Experience working within a franchised or multi-site retail environment is desirable
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Strong commercial acumen and project management skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline will be highly regarded
