Bureau of Meteorology is seeking a Technical Officer Level 3 for an approximate 6-month posting at Norfolk Island. This unaccompanied role includes accommodation on Norfolk Island and may involve travel for training.

The officer will lead the station’s observational programs, mentor staff and ensure WHS compliance, with liaison to the Sydney Hub as needed. The posting starts late February 2027, with a potential August 2027 deployment.
