Oriem is a fast-growing company that supplies concrete steel reinforcement, accessories and tools to the concrete construction industry.

Our branch in Milperra is looking for a Sales/Warehouse Assistant who is passionate about customer service and building strong relationships with our trade customers. What can you expect in this role?

Sales & Customer Service

greeting customers at the trade counter, understanding their requirements, and recommending the right products and solutions

Order Processing

quoting, processing sales orders, and handling phone, email and counter enquiries efficiently

Product Knowledge

developing a strong understanding of our range of concrete reinforcement, accessories and tools to confidently advise customers

Relationship Building

maintaining a professional, friendly presence that keeps customers coming back

Store Presentation

keeping the trade counter and showroom tidy, well-stocked, and well-presented

Teamwork

supporting the branch team, embracing Oriem's values, policies, and procedures, and pitching in with all aspects of branch duties required.

Warehousing duties

include packing orders, receiving incoming goods, Tipper (delivery) driving, manual production/machine operating.





This is a true all-rounder position with genuine room to grow. You'll have the opportunity to build skills and take on responsibilities across sales, warehousing, production, and deliveries/driving, giving you exposure to the full end-to-end operation and a clear path to develop within the business.

Hours:

Monday – Friday 6:30am – 4:30pm

Saturday 7:00am – 11:00am (rotating fortnightly)

Our ideal team member:

You don't need industry experience, but to be physically fit, able to work in a quick-paced environment, a genuine passion for sales and customer service is essential, along with confidence, initiative, and a proactive attitude. You'll receive full on-the-job training in our products and systems.

General computer skills are required to key orders and understand systems. A forklift license is an advantage but not essential. A driver's license is beneficial given the opportunity to assist with deliveries as your role grows. Our business is focused on driving the success of our customers through end-to-end supply solutions and great customer service every step of the way.
