About the Role

This is a varied role combining sales, customer service, plant knowledge, marketing and general nursery operations. You’ll work with our existing customer base while helping grow the business by developing new relationships and identifying sales opportunities.

Part‑time & Full‑time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.

Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm availability required with the flexability to occassionally work Saturday's.

Key Responsibilities

- Sales & Customer Service: Assist retail and wholesale customers with enquiries, product recommendations and orders, delivering friendly and knowledgeable service.

- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain solid relationships with existing customers through phone calls, emails and regular follow‑ups.

- Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, introduce our products and services to potential customers, and help expand our customer base.

- Order Coordination: Assist with processing customer orders, coordinating stock availability and ensuring orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.

- Marketing & Promotions:



Help develop and distribute marketing materials, support promotional activities and contribute ideas to grow sales.

- Market Research: Keep up to date with customer needs, plant trends and new product opportunities.

- Stock & Quality Control: Help maintain high standards of plant quality, presentation and stock management.

- General Support: Work collaboratively with the team to assist with day‑to‑day nursery operations and administration as required.

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who has:

- Previous sales or customer service experience.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A friendly, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in plants and horticulture.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Confidence using computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, email and social media.
- An ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
- A willingness to learn and develop your product knowledge.

Experience in horticulture, nursery operations, wholesale sales or marketing would be highly regarded.
