Pearson Carter are currently working with a growing technology business based in Adelaide, South Australia, delivering enterprise software solutions across cloud, web, and data-driven platforms.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join their development team and work across backend services, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and customer-facing applications.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications
- Build REST APIs and backend services
- Work with cloud platforms and modern infrastructure
- Develop and integrate customer-facing applications




- Improve application performance, reliability, and security
- Contribute to CI/CD, testing, and deployment practices
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders

Experience

- 5 years’ software development experience
- Strong C# / .NET or similar backend experience
- REST API and integration experience
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Cloud experience, ideally Azure or AWS
- Understanding of CI/CD and Agile development
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
