This position would suit someone who can work autonomously but also enjoys being part of a team.Detail focus is a must for this role. The work is interesting and may vary dependent from project to project. Most of the work is predominantly in the commercial & industrial fields. You must have the ability to work flexibly as projects will be located at various sites (Metro Locations) so travel is required. There is also the possibility of some weekend work.

What will you be doing

- Conduct quality inspections on pallet racking
- Willing to travel to customer sites
- Identify potential problems (material fault or assembly method).
- Writing findings report




- Work closely with warehouse, sales and installing teams
- Assist in creating standard operating procedures.
- Conduct quality training for front line employees.
- Conduct assembly process audits.
- Recommend repair or replacement options
- Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and standards;
- Draft quality assurance policies and procedures; Inspection, auditing and testing
- Recommend, implement and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved

Requirements

- Robust organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work through audit schedules.
- An ability to solve issues and instruct on quality processes.
- High expectation and understanding of quality.
