Angular Full Stack Developers and Data Engineers

Profectus is seeking experienced Senior Full Stack Developers, Full Stack Developers and Data Engineers to sustain, remediate and enhance a secure web application within an Australian Government agency. The application is built on Angular and aggregates data from multiple authoritative sources to support decision making. The work covers full-stack development, application security remediation, data integration and migration to an enterprise data platform.

Roles

Profectus is seeking experienced Senior Full Stack Developers, Full Stack Developers and Data Engineers to sustain, remediate and enhance a secure web application within an Australian Government agency. The application is built on Angular and aggregates data from multiple authoritative sources to support decision making. The work covers full-stack development, application security remediation, data integration and migration to an enterprise data platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain, remediate and enhance an Angular-based enterprise web application

- Deliver full-stack development, application integration and new features

- Establish a secure, secure and supportable application baseline

- Provide technical leadership and code review (Senior Full Stack Developers)

- Remediate Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) findings and identified vulnerabilities

- Implement secure software development practices and DevSecOps maturity uplift

- Design and implement data integration services and data pipelines

- Migrate data assets to an enterprise data platform and remediate data quality issues

- Undertake data modelling, transformation and optimisation

- Develop and maintain technical documentation





- Transfer knowledge to government staff

Required Experience

- Experience as a Full Stack Developer or Data Engineer on enterprise web applications or data programs

- Developers: strong experience with Angular and TypeScript, and with building REST APIs and back-end services

- Data Engineers: experience building data pipelines and migrating data between platforms, with strong SQL and data modelling skills

- Data Engineers: experience supporting data used by Angular-based web applications

- Experience applying secure coding practices and remediating vulnerabilities

- Experience working in agile delivery teams with CI/CD pipelines

- Senior Full Stack Developers: experience providing technical leadership, code review and mentoring

- Experience delivering ICT work within Defence or another Australian Government agency

Desirable Experience

- Experience working within the Defence Secret environment or other classified environments

- Experience with the Defence One Defence Data platform, or enterprise data platforms such as Cloudera

- Experience with SBOM tools and standards such as CycloneDX or SPDX

- Experience supporting application accreditation against the Information Security Manual (ISM)

- Experience applying OWASP secure development guidance

Security Clearance Requirements

- Must be an Australian Citizen

- Must have a current AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance (minimum)

- Data Engineer roles require a current AGSVA NV2 Security Clearance (minimum)
