E-commerce Customer Support & Operations Assistant

Future Tile is an online tile store based in Brisbane. Most of our customers shop on our website, and we deliver tiles to homeowners, builders and trades across Australia. Our showroom and warehouse in Fortitude Valley is where customers come to see tiles in person and where we pack samples and get orders ready. We’re a small team that builds a lot of its own systems, so you’ll see how an e-commerce business runs from the inside.

The role

You’ll keep our online orders moving and look after our customers. Most of your day is online: answering live chat and email, following orders from checkout to delivery, and solving problems before they reach the customer. The rest is hands‑on, like packing samples, getting pickups ready and helping walk‑in customers in the showroom.

What you’ll do

Answer customer enquiries by live chat, email and phone: product questions, quantities, stock, order updates and delivery times

Manage orders end to end: confirm stock with suppliers, raise purchase orders, book freight and track deliveries until they arrive

Handle delays,



damaged deliveries and returns with care and follow‑through

Pick, pack and send tile samples, and prepare customer pickups

Keep product, stock and order data accurate in our online store and internal systems

Help customers in the showroom when they visit

About you

Experience in e-commerce customer support, online retail operations, customer service or logistics

Shopify or similar platform experience is a plus, and so is tiles, flooring or building supplies, but neither is essential

Explicit and friendly in writing and on the phone

Organised. You close loops and don’t let orders slip

Quick on a computer and comfortable learning new software

Happy to lift boxes of tiles up to about 15kg

Full working rights in Australia

$60,000 to $65,000 + super, full time
