Responsible for the implementation of quality standards and testing procedures for steel fabrication.

Key responsibilities

Organise QA testing, record keeping and welding inspections.

Record and maintain in-process and final inspection records for QA and production control.

Assist Workshop Foreman as required in the Workshop

About you

Capable of reading and understanding steel fabrication drawings and an understanding of weld procedures and traceability.

Relevant QA qualifications in steel fabrication required.

Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Management System & CC3 Accreditation requirements.

Must be able to work unsupervised and in a team workplace.

Professional work ethics, critical thinking skills and attention to detail necessary.

Standard hours 7.00am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday with regular overtime required.
