Our client is a well-established and highly regarded organisation within the automotive industry and is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Trade Sales Representative to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys sales, loves getting out and meeting customers and has the confidence and drive to build strong, long-term business relationships.

Working with an established portfolio of trade customers including mechanical workshops, smash repairers and panel shops, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships, identifying new sales opportunities and ensuring customers receive exceptional service.

Previous experience within the automotive, aftermarket parts, mechanical or smash repair industries would be highly regarded, however we are also very interested in speaking with experienced salespeople from other industries who have the right attitude and drive to succeed. Perhaps you're currently working in internal sales and would love the chance to step into an on-the-road sales role?

This role will suit someone who is self-motivated, enjoys being on the road and takes genuine pride in building relationships and achieving results.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Regularly visiting existing trade customers to build relationships and increase sales
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities within your territory
- Promoting products, special offers and marketing initiatives to customers
- Developing your own promotional materials and sales initiatives to engage customers
- Planning and managing your customer visits to ensure maximum coverage of your territory
- Acting as the main point of contact for customer enquiries, concerns and complaints




- Negotiating with customers and assisting with contract discussions
- Maintaining accurate records of customer visits, feedback and sales opportunities
- Working closely with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure excellent service
- Assisting with urgent parts deliveries and other customer requirements when needed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Proven sales experience, ideally within a B2B or territory sales environment
- A genuine passion for sales and the drive to achieve results
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Confidence approaching new customers and identifying sales opportunities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work autonomously, plan your own schedule and manage a busy territory
- Resilience, adaptability and the confidence to handle challenging situations
- Good computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate customer records
- A proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for your customers
- A current driver's licence
- Some regional travel and occasional overnight stays will be required, with all associated business travel expenses covered
