Responsibilities:

Maintain a professional, highly visible security presence while delivering proactive customer service and assistance to client staff, visitors, contractors and other building occupants.

Proactively monitor CCTV surveillance and electronic access control systems to identify suspicious activity, security breaches and potential risks, escalating concerns where required.

Conduct regular internal and external building patrols to identify, assess and mitigate security and safety risks, maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Identify, document and promptly report hazards, building defects, equipment faults and maintenance issues to the appropriate client representatives for rectification.

Provide direct support to the client, responding to requests, assisting with day-to-day operational requirements and escalating issues in a timely and professional manner.

Manage contractor and visitor access in accordance with site security procedures, including verifying access permissions, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with site requirements.

Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations, security incidents and other critical events in accordance with site-specific procedures,



including coordinating with emergency services where required.

Accurately record and report security incidents, unusual activities, hazards and other relevant operational matters, ensuring all reporting is completed in accordance with client and company requirements.

Undertake additional security, safety and customer service duties as reasonably required to support site operations and client requirements.

You Will Be Able to Demonstrate:

Conduct – Consistently maintain a skilled and courteous demeanour.

Presentation – Uphold a clean, neat, and well-groomed corporate appearance at all times.

Performance – Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, effectively identify and respond to security incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service at all times.

Eligibility, Qualifications, Licences & Certifications

Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with unrestricted Rights to Work in Australia (Essential).

Current ACT Security Licence with a Class 1A as a minimum (Essential).

Current First Aid Certification (Required).

Current CPR (Required).

Full Drivers Licence (Required).

Working with Vulnerable People / Working with Children Check (Required or ability to obtain).

Valid Police Check (obtained in the last 3 months or ability to obtain).

Capacity to work a 5/2 Roster cycle.

Elevated customer service skills.

Experience in EACS Pass Production.

Previous Security experience required.

Two references required.
