At C&K;, we know that healthy, nutritious meals play an important role in helping children learn, grow and thrive. We're looking for a dedicated Cook to join our North Caloundra team and help create delicious, nutritious meals for young children in a warm and welcoming early childhood environment.

C&K; North Caloundra is a long-established service with solid community connections and a reputation for quality. From preparing healthy meals to sharing smiles with children and educators, you'll play an important role in creating a place where children belong and grow.

- Part-time permanent opportunity
- Monday to Friday
- 4.5 hours per day (22.5 hours per week)
- No weekends, evenings or public holiday work
- Consistent weekly roster

What you’ll do

- Plan and prepare nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks.
- Cater for a range of dietary, allergy and cultural requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.
- Manage food ordering,



stock rotation and kitchen budgets.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health and hygiene standards.
- Work closely with the centre team to support children's wellbeing.

What you’ll bring

If you’re committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!
We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

- A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or related discipline) and Quality Food Supervisor Certificate is ideal, but we are happy to consider unqualified applicants with experience.
- Valid Blue Card and current Police Check.
- Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate
