Wynnum State High School is seeking an enthusiastic, organised and proactive Science Technician to join our team in a permanent, full-time position commencing January 2027.

About the Role:

In this role, you will play an important part in supporting our Science Department by preparing practical experiments, maintaining laboratory equipment and resources, and ensuring a safe and engaging learning workplace for students and staff.

Responsibilities Include:

- Prepare, distribute and set up science samples and demonstrations.
- Work independently in the laboratory, identifying and safely managing chemical hazards.
- Maintain laboratories, classrooms, storerooms and equipment in a clean, safe and organised condition.
- Support science teachers and senior laboratory staff with experiments, demonstrations, student equipment instruction and safety procedures during practical activities and field trips.
