Opportunity 1 — Solicitor (2–5 Years PAE)

General Practice | Commercial & Corporate | Tax | Estates | Property | Wealth Structuring

Are you a commercially minded solicitor looking to move beyond a narrowly defined practice area?

At PV Legal, we offer the opportunity to develop a broad and rewarding legal career, working across a diverse range of legal and commercial matters.

You will work directly with experienced practitioners, including our Director, and gain exposure to sophisticated matters involving businesses, private clients, families and professional advisers.

This is a role for someone who enjoys intellectual variety, takes pride in delivering practical advice and wants to become a trusted adviser rather than simply a technical legal practitioner.

What You'll Do

- Provide clear, strategic and commercially focused legal advice across the firm's general practice areas.

- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, deeds and other legal documentation.

- Assist with business structuring, corporate transactions, taxation, trusts, superannuation, succession planning, wills and estates, property and charity-related matters.

- Conduct legal research, analyse complex legal issues and develop practical,



client-focused solutions.

- Manage client files and transactions with appropriate independence and professional judgment.

- Work collaboratively with accountants, financial advisers and other professional stakeholders.

- Assist the Director with complex legal and commercial matters.

- Develop and maintain trusted client relationships through clear communication and responsive service.

- Contribute ideas, initiative and expertise to the continued development of the practice.

What We're Looking For

- 2–5 years' post-admission experience within an Australian legal practice.

- Admission as an Australian legal practitioner and eligibility to practise in Queensland.

- Experience in general practice, corporate and commercial law, or one or more of our key practice areas.

- Excellent legal drafting, research, analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong commercial awareness and an ability to consider the broader implications of legal advice.

- Confidence communicating directly with clients and managing matters autonomously.

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

- A proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach.

- A genuine interest in professional development and long-term career progression.

Experience across every practice area is not required.

We are particularly interested in solicitors who demonstrate strong legal fundamentals, commercial aptitude and a willingness to broaden their knowledge.

Experience in taxation, trusts, wealth structuring, superannuation, estate planning or corporate advisory work will be highly regarded.

Opportunity 2 — Conveyancing Clerk / Paralegal (1–3 Years' Experience)

Property & Real Estate | Conveyancing | Client Relationships

Property is often one of the most significant financial and personal decisions our clients make.

At PV Legal, we believe conveyancing should be more than processing documents and meeting settlement dates. It should be a clear, well-managed and reassuring experience for every client.

We are seeking a capable, organised and client-focused Conveyancing Clerk / Paralegal to support our property and real estate practice.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys managing transactions, communicating with clients and taking ownership of their work within a supportive professional environment.

What You'll Do

- Assist with and manage residential and commercial conveyancing matters from initial instructions through to settlement.

- Prepare and process contracts, property searches, settlement documentation and related correspondence.

- Monitor critical dates, contractual obligations and transaction milestones.

- Coordinate electronic conveyancing and settlements through PEXA.

- Liaise with clients, real estate agents, financial institutions, brokers, solicitors and other stakeholders.

- Assist with property-related due diligence, enquiries and documentation.

- Maintain accurate,



organised and up-to-date electronic files.

- Provide timely updates and clear communication to clients throughout the conveyancing process.

- Support solicitors with property and real estate matters as required.

What We're Looking For

- Ideally 1–3 years' experience in conveyancing or property-related legal work.

- Sound understanding of Queensland residential conveyancing processes.

- Experience preparing conveyancing documentation, conducting searches and coordinating settlements.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

- Clear, professional and confident client communication skills.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and file management.

- Reliability, initiative and a collaborative attitude.

Highly Regarded

- Experience with LEAP legal practice management software.

- Experience with PEXA electronic settlements.

- Exposure to commercial property conveyancing.

- Relevant legal studies qualifications or equivalent practical experience.
