We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscaping/Labourer to join our busy team, servicing both residential and commercial properties. If you have a passion for the outdoors, a strong work ethic, and relevant skills, we encourage you to apply!
About the Role
This is a hands-on position involving all aspects of landscaping and general labour. The work is varied, covers diverse projects, and requires physical fitness and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- General site preparation and clean-up.
- Assisting with planting, weeding, pruning, and lawn maintenance.
- Concreting and Paving: Assisting with the preparation and execution of hardscaping elements (laying pavers, basic concreting, boxing, etc.).
- Operating various landscaping tools and equipment.
- Moving materials and assisting skilled tradespeople.
- Ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality on all job sites.
Required Criteria
You MUST meet the following criteria to be considered for this role:
- Valid Driver's Licence and Own Reliable Vehicle:
Essential for travel to and from various job sites.
- Willingness to Obtain: Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and a satisfactory Police Check (or willingness to obtain both).
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
While not mandatory, candidates possessing the following will be highly regarded:
- Formal Qualification: Certificate III in Landscaping or Horticulture (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Proven experience in a landscaping, horticulture, laboring, or construction workplace, particularly with Horticulture, concreting and paving tasks.
