We are seeking a Mid level Service Management Consultant to coordinate the onboarding, transition and ongoing governance of service providers within a complex multi-supplier environment.
You do not need to have held a dedicated SIAM title. We are open to candidates from broader ITSM, service delivery, service transition, supplier management or operational readiness backgrounds who understand how to bring different teams and providers together.
An active NV1 security clearance is mandatory, along with availability to work on the client site in Canberra five days per week.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the onboarding of new service providers into the operating workplace.
- Develop and maintain onboarding plans, checklists, templates and readiness requirements.
- Work across service management, technology, security, commercial and operational teams.
- Help define provider responsibilities, service interfaces, dependencies and escalation pathways.
- Ensure providers are integrated into the appropriate governance forums, reporting cycles, processes and tools.
- Support operational readiness reviews before services transition into production.
- Coordinate knowledge transfer, service handovers, documentation and outstanding actions.
- Support provider transitions and offboarding activities while maintaining service continuity.
- Monitor provider compliance with agreed service management processes, policies and ways of working.
- Skills and experience
We are open to candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- IT service management or ITSM consulting
- Supplier, vendor or service provider governance
- Service transition or service introduction
- Service delivery management
- Operational readiness or service acceptance
- Multi-supplier technology environments
- Infrastructure, cloud, applications, networks or security services
