About the Role

Countryside Medical Centre is seeking experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our friendly team in Bairnsdale, Victoria. We are a growing rural GP clinic, opened in February 2026, and this is your chance to help shape how we care for our community, design workflows, and build a warm, welcoming practice culture from the beginning.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Provide patient-centred, compassionate, and efficient care in a friendly, supportive environment

- RNs: Lead chronic disease management, care plans, immunisations, and wound care

- ENs: Deliver basic patient care, assessments, and clinical support

- Work together as a collaborative team, with overlapping roles as needed to ensure smooth, high-quality care

- Assist doctors with patient examinations and procedures

- Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention

- Maintain accurate patient records and follow clinical protocols

- Maintain an efficient workflow, including clinical recalls, stock management, proactive preventative healthcare

What We’re Looking For

- RN or EN with current AHPRA registration

- Experience in general practice, community health, or medical clinics

- Nurses who are compassionate, patient-focused, and efficient, with excellent communication and teamwork skills





- Excited by the opportunity to help shape a growing clinic and contribute to its development

- Midwifery experience is welcomed, with opportunity to work alongside our GP obstetricians in women’s health care

- Immunisation experience is preferred but not mandatory for RN applicants

- Medication endorsement for EN applicants preferred

- Cannulation competency welcomed

- Competitive above-award casual remuneration ($42-55 per hour + superannuation), based on experience and scope of practice
