We're partnering with a select group of well-regarded Perth commercial builders who are each looking to add a Contract Administrator (Junior - Senior) to their delivery teams.
Roles available now, plus current-year starts. Some positions are ready to fill immediately. We're also taking expressions of interest for roles starting in early 2027, so if you're planning a move after the break, we'd still like to hear from you.
The builders
These are established, privately owned WA businesses, the kind that win work on reputation and repeat clients rather than lowest price. Between them they deliver projects up to $60M+ across:
- Education, including staged work in live, operating schools
- Heritage, community and civic buildings
- Health, aged care and retirement living
- Multi-residential, apartments and townhouses
- Retail, Fast food, fitout
- Industrial design and construct
You'll work in tight-knit teams with leadership who are on site and accessible. Several of these businesses have promoted current PMs and directors from within, and they run structured development programs to make that happen.
The role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll own the commercial and contractual side of the project from award to handover:
- Preparing and issuing tender packages, scopes and subcontracts
- Procurement, subcontractor negotiation and trade letting
- Progress claims, cost reports and forecasting
- Managing variations, RFIs, EOTs and contract correspondence
- Design coordination with consultants and the client team
- Supporting programming, quality and handover documentation
About you
- 3+ years contract administration experience with a local commercial head contractor
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, QS, Engineering or similar
- Working knowledge of AS4000 / AS2124 or AS4902 contracts
- Strong commercial awareness and clear, confident communication
- Experience in education, health, aged care, apartments or industrial highly regarded
- A track record of solid tenure with previous employers
Civil, mining, residential volume and subcontractor backgrounds are unlikely to suit these clients.

Salary: $80k-$190k + super (Junior - Senior). Salary ranges are a guide only; the final package is set by the client based on each candidate's experience.
