About the role

ALT Pasta Bar is a contemporary Italian pasta bar located in the heart of Melbourne CBD, bringing together traditional Italian foundations with subtle Korean and Japanese influences. We are looking for a passionate Commis Chef or Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

Key responsibilities

- Work in a skilled kitchen environment
- Prepare and cook food to the standards of our contemporary Italian pasta bar
- Work within a kitchen team to deliver quality dishes
- Take pride in food preparation and presentation

About you

- Has experience working in a professional kitchen
- Passionate about food and eager to learn and improve
- Brings a positive mindset and a strong work ethic
- Works well within a team and takes pride in what they do
- Reliable, respectful and open to new ideas
