About the role

You will oversee day-to-day site activities, coordinate trades and subcontractors, and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard. You will be a key point of contact between our team, clients and trades throughout each job.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise building repairs, carpentry and general maintenance works across multiple sites.
- Schedule and coordinate trades, subcontractors, materials and equipment.
- Conduct site inspections, assess maintenance requirements and prepare explicit scopes of work.
- Monitor progress, workmanship, costs and completion timeframes.
- Maintain safe worksites and ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable building requirements.
- Communicate with clients and occupants to arrange access and provide progress updates.
- Maintain accurate site records, photographs, reports and completion documentation.
- Resolve site issues promptly and follow through on defects and outstanding works.

About you





- Experience supervising building, renovation or maintenance works.
- A relevant trade qualification, with a carpentry background highly regarded.
- Sound knowledge of building methods, maintenance practices and workplace health and safety.
- Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage several jobs and changing priorities.
- Professional communication and a commitment to client service.
- Confidence using email, mobile apps and job management systems.
- A current NSW driver's licence and White Card.
- A current police check, or willingness to obtain one.
- Flexibility to travel throughout Newcastle and the Central Coast, with occasional after-hours or weekend availability.
