THE ROLE
Join our growing team and assist in the delivery of our structural concrete retaining walls on civil and commercial projects throughout the South-East Queensland region. You will be primarily responsible for the deliverables and operations, overseeing technical engineering disciplines and coordination of our projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and coordination of daily works, equipment and personnel
- Daily material ordering and preparing delivery run sheets to current live sites
- Procurement of materials for upcoming projects
- Drive HSEQ and HSEQ compliance
- Managing ITPs and Quality documentation from employees
- Handling RFI’s
- Preparing and submitting progress claims
- Coordinating direct labour workforce and sub-contractors when required
- Programming and scheduling works
- Quantity take-offs
- Preparing tender submissions
- Undertaking site inspection to ensure works are completed according to specification
ABOUT YOU
You will bring extensive on-ground project engineering experience as well as:
- Tertiary qualification in Structural or Civil Engineering (or similar)
- Exposure to Civil Subdivision, Industrial Bulk Earthworks site, Commercial & Residential Building sites.
- Solid project delivery skills, including budgeting and coordinating works
- Client facing with a strong commercial skillset
- Able to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Self-managing while working well in a team environment
- Proven problem-solving ability and can ‘think outside the box’
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
