About the Role
Infinity is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Project Engineer to join our growing team. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager and wider project team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality commercial construction projects, taking ownership of key project elements from design coordination through to construction and completion. This is an opportunity to join an established and growing Tier 2 builder where your experience, ideas and contribution are valued. What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate and manage project activities and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered on time and to a high standard. Managing programme with SPM.
- Manage design coordination, resolve technical issues and liaise with consultants.
- Prepare, monitor and update project programmes to meet key milestones.
- Monitor project costs, variations and subcontractor claims to support commercial performance.
- Oversee quality assurance, inspections and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate site activities with project teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Promote health, safety and environmental compliance across all project activities.
- Maintain project documentation, report on progress and build robust relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors. What We're Looking For We're interested in someone who brings strong technical capability, a proactive mindset and the confidence to take ownership of their work. You'll ideally have:
- At least 6 years' experience in a Project Engineer or similar role within commercial construction.
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.




- Experience delivering commercial construction projects, ideally valued up to $60 million.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, design coordination, project programming and subcontractor management.
- An understanding of cost control, variations, quality assurance and project compliance.
- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across a project team.
- A proactive, accountable approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A current White Card and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain the required certification.
- Confidence using construction project management software and digital tools.
