The Role We are seeking a passionate Associate or Senior Associate to work across our Personal Injury practice on a permanent basis in our Perth CBD office, with optional Joondalup office location if desired. Reporting to the Legal Practice Leader, you will work on a range of personal injury matters across predominantly work injury and psychological injury claims. Please note that although this is a full-time prospect, we are open to discussions around either a part-time or flexible work arrangements for the right candidate. With compassion, connection and purpose, you’ll truly champion our clients by:
- Competently managing and progressing a variety of personal injury files across predominantly work injury, and psychological injury claims.
- Drafting legal documents in a concise and effective manner.
- Interpreting legal advice to each client's particular case to suit their level of understanding.
- Being commercially responsible and fiscally aware,
in relation to running files.
- Effectively assessing claims including prospects, liability and quantum.
- Developing and maintaining strong professional working relationships with clients, including effective and regular communication and managing the client's expectations.
- Taking an active role in working with and mentoring junior staff. What you’ll bring To thrive in this role, you’ll have the:
- Experience in a similar personal injury solicitor role.
- Experience in the Workcover WA jurisdiction
- Desire to specialise in the complex legal area of workers.
- Ability to manage large volumes of documents.
- Maturity and confidence to deal with clients, counsel and expert witnesses.
- Attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Passion, motivation and enthusiasm to take their career to the next level.
