Reporting into a GM – People, Safety & Sustainability, this newly scoped role will take ownership of talent acquisition, learning and development, leadership capability, succession planning and workforce development initiatives across a diverse, multi site workforce. The role offers the chance to influence people strategy while remaining close to the business and its leaders.
The Opportunity
As the Talent & Capability Manager, you will lead the design and delivery of talent and development initiatives that strengthen organisational capability and support long term business objectives. Working closely with senior leaders and operational teams, you will play a key role in ensuring the organisation attracts, develops and retains high performing talent.
Key areas of focus include:
- End to end talent acquisition across professional, leadership and operational roles.
- Building talent pipelines and enhancing employer branding initiatives.
- Designing and delivering learning and development programs.
- Leading leadership development and capability frameworks.
- Driving talent review and succession planning processes.
- Supporting workforce planning and leveraging people analytics to inform decision making.
- Partnering with leaders to build high performing teams and strengthen leadership capability.
About You
We are seeking an experienced Talent, Learning & Development, or HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands on delivery.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Talent Management, or broader Human Resources.
- Experience partnering with leaders across diverse and geographically dispersed workforces.
- Strong capability in leadership development, capability building and succession planning.
- Confidence using HR systems, workforce data and reporting to drive outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility across all levels of an organisation.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach and genuine passion for developing people.
