1st Year Automotive Sales (Spare Parts) Apprenticeship

Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking a motivated 1st Year Automotive Spare Parts Apprentice to join one of our established host employers in Castle Hill, NSW.

This is a fantastic chance to begin your apprenticeship in a professional automotive dealership, working alongside experienced industry professionals while gaining hands-on experience in automotive parts, inventory management and customer service.

You'll work towards completing your AUR31020 Certificate III in Automotive Sales, developing the skills and knowledge required to build a successful career in the automotive spare parts industry.

What You'll Be Doing

Working alongside experienced spare parts professionals, you'll develop your skills in:

- Identifying and sourcing automotive spare parts and accessories.




- Assisting customers and workshop technicians with parts enquiries.
- Learning to use electronic parts catalogues and inventory management systems.
- Receiving, checking and processing incoming stock deliveries.
- Picking, packing and organising parts for workshop and customer orders.
- Assisting with stock control, inventory checks and ordering.
- Developing an understanding of vehicle components and their functions.
- Providing professional customer service over the phone and in person.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe parts department.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures.

About You

We're looking for someone who has a genuine interest in the automotive industry, enjoys working with people and is eager to develop their skills through a full-time apprenticeship.

To be considered, you must have:

- A genuine interest in cars, automotive parts and the automotive industry.
- A current P1 driver's licence or higher.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals.
- Basic computer skills and confidence learning new systems.
- A reliable attitude and strong work ethic.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to completing a full-time apprenticeship.

Highly Regarded

- Completion of a Certificate II in Automotive.
- Previous work experience in an automotive dealership, retail or customer service environment.




- Basic knowledge of automotive parts, components and accessories.
- An interest in modern vehicle technology, including electric and hybrid vehicles.
- Experience using computers, inventory systems or stock management software.

- Be reliable, motivated and committed to completing their qualification.
