Business Analyst – Business Change Management - Fund Services

Global financial services firm - Sydney CBD - 12 month initial assignment - $1000 - $1300 per day (including super)

The role of the Business Analyst is to support the delivery of:

- Client Transformation Projects
- Business change projects
- Emerging recent business initiatives / projects
- Internal/external technical change programs
- Various continuous improvement programs

Key accountabilities

- Engaging with clients, internal and external stakeholders to establish a common understanding of the business needs
- Identifying, assessing and documenting business requirements. Clarifying and eliciting business requirements, proactively identifying additional requirements not explicitly provided, obtaining missing information and resolving conflicting information among the needs and requirements
- Recommending business priorities and advising stakeholders on options and risks; conducting analysis and determining solutions to business requirements
- Ensuring system requirements are consistent with the business requirements.



Where possible relate deliverables and their acceptance criteria to the requirements
- Managing all changes to requirements through a formally defined scope change process
- Identifying and driving efficiency initiatives where applicable

Selection criteria

- Degree qualified in IT, Business, or related discipline
- 5+ years analysis experience or relevant business operations experience
- Experience in an Information Technology & Change capacity in the Fund Services Industry
- Experience in custody, middle office, registry or back-office administration for the funds management industry
- Australian Regulatory and/or Taxation experience desirable
- Excellent written and verbal abilities required
- Advanced experience in MS Office, Visio, JIRA and Confluence
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to effectively engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Willingness to travel to client sites Australia-wide if required
