A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Lawyer to join the Brisbane office of a highly regarded national commercial law firm.

With close to 500 professionals across Australia, the firm is known for sophisticated commercial work, a collaborative culture and robust investment in the development of its lawyers. You’ll work alongside experienced corporate Partners and senior practitioners while gaining exposure to high-quality transactions from day one.

The Role

You’ll work across a broad range of corporate matters, including:

- Private M and A
- Joint ventures
- Asset and company acquisitions and disposals
- Capital raisings for listed and unlisted companies
- Corporate governance and compliance
- Corporate and commercial transactions
- Due diligence and transaction management
- Commercial agreements
- Energy and Resources transactions

You’ll have genuine client exposure, assist with strategic commercial advice and be involved in transactions from inception through to completion,



giving you the opportunity to continue building your technical skills and commercial judgement.

About You

We’re looking for a Corporate Lawyer with approximately 2 to 4 years’ PAE and experience across a range of corporate matters.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

- Experience in private M and A, joint ventures, acquisitions and disposals
- Exposure to capital raisings and corporate governance
- A sound understanding of the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules and corporate compliance
- Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
- A collaborative approach and genuine interest in developing your practice

Energy and Resources experience is advantageous but not essential
