The opportunity

The Manager: Employee Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement and payroll services across Toowoomba Catholic Schools. Leading a dedicated team within People and Engagement Services, including Team Leads across each service area, you will work closely with school and office leaders to deliver high-quality, customer-focused employee services that support organisational priorities and workforce needs. The Manager: Employee Services provides expert advice on complex employee matters, oversees service delivery and compliance, drives continuous improvement and fosters strong stakeholder relationships to enhance service outcomes and deliver a positive employee experience.

About You

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related field, with at least five years’ experience in a similar senior leadership role.

Extensive experience across human resources and payroll including attraction and retention, payroll management, workforce management and reporting.

Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.





Proven ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships and provide expert advice on complex workforce and employment matters.

Experience working within the education sector will be desirable.

A current class C drivers' licence and the willingness to travel, as required.

Either hold a current Paid Blue Card for working with children issued by Blue Card Services or be eligible to obtain one prior to commencing in this role.
