This role has a particular focus on early school leavers, alongside supporting other participants with disability, injury or health conditions. With strong interest from local schools, there’s a real opportunity to build these connections and help young people explore what comes next.

The role

You’ll support a mixed caseload, getting to know each person’s strengths, interests and goals, then working together on practical pathways into employment.

Your days will include:

- Helping young people build job readiness, confidence and skills for working life.
- Developing relationships with schools, families, local employers and community services.
- Finding suitable job opportunities and supporting participants to take that next step.
- Working towards employment outcomes, following up opportunities and keeping accurate records.
- Supporting participants and employers after placement, with an ongoing support component becoming part of the role over time.

Bring your experience—or a fresh perspective

You might come from employment services across DES, IEA, Workforce Australia or TTW, or have experience as a Teacher’s Aide, Youth Worker, NDIS support worker or in a similar role supporting young people. Lived experience is welcome too. We value the understanding, perspective and connection it can bring.

Employment services experience is an advantage, but it isn’t essential. Our experienced team will help you learn the role and build your confidence. We’re looking for someone who:

- Connects easily with people (especially youth) and genuinely wants to help them succeed.
- Brings energy, initiative and a proactive approach.
- Enjoys working towards goals and achieving results.
- Stays organised, follows through and is comfortable using digital systems.




- Works well with others and contributes to a positive team.
